Balancing motherhood & marriage with my passions for yoga and the outdoors. I walked away from my Celebrity London lifestyle in 2009, pregnant with my first child and en route to starting a new life in Norway.
After a turbulent few years in the media fighting a lost battle against newspapers & magazines it was unbelievably refreshing to wake up to Nature instead of Paparazzi & opinions outside my front door.
I had no idea what tomorrow would bring and whether I would soon be moving back again.
However I fell in love with Norway, living so close to
Nature on a daily basis became the biggest luxury life gave me. As a bonus the people who live here are great too.
I learned the language, studied to become an authorised medical assistant and took a 500 hour yoga teacher training in Ashtanga, Yin, Senior and kids yoga.
I am passionate about helping others live a healthier and happier life. Teaching yoga is dream come true.
“Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food.” – Hippocrates.
A mostly plant based diet is the way to go. As an animal lover I find impossible to eat them or eat anything that has had to suffer to make it onto my plate. My way of eating is the “kind” approach, also known as the yogi way of eating. In the words of Sharath Jois from his Ageless book, “The secret to a yogis diet is simply a focus on what foods are healing, light, nutritious and filled with energy. We eat foods that keep our focus sharp and our minds clear”.
Mostly plant based although I do not mind eggs from hens who roam free and have a happy life or some organic cheese from cows who live free and loved. I will however not touch eggs or diary from animals who have lived in cages/factories.
Alcohol in my World is for special occasions only and one or two glasses is usually more than enough to get me tipsy.
